Dance Camp: The Lecture Schedule

Here we are, less than a week away from the 3rd Annual Pacific Grand Ball, taking care of every little detail. Here's one we're crossing off our list: the lecture schedule for the dance camp on Sunday, September 25.

We've got seven world-class coaches, an amazing floor at Dance Vita and a jam-packed schedule:

Registration closing soon and great news about our Dance Camp

The registration deadline is August 30 -- make sure you submit your registration.

You can register online or download a form and fax it to us.

And when you register, don't forget to add the dance camp on Sunday, September 25.

Luca Barrichi is joining our lineup of world-class coaches. All that at an unbeatable price: $35 per workshop or $115 for the whole camp (5 workshops). Privates are also available.

The dance camp will be held at the newly opened Dance Vita Ballroom Studio.

Have you signed up for our dance camp?

What better way to top off a fun competition than with more dancing? This year's dance camp is star-studded with a lineup of world-class coaches.

We're still working on the schedule, but we're so excited about our this year's camp that we wanted to share a few details.

Workshops and privates will be held on Sunday, September 25 at the new Dance Vita Ballroom in San Mateo (85W 43rd Ave, San Mateo, CA). Transportation from the Mariott will be provided. If you haven't booked your room yet, there's still time to take advantage of the $99 (plus tax) rate!

Igor and Irina Suvorov
Professional Standard British Open Rising Star Champion, Asian-Pacific Champion and US Representative to the World Championships. Currently Dance Sport coaches, adjudicators, and organizers of Desert Classic Dance Sport Championships

You can get an all day pass for the camp for $65 per person or $120 per couple. Or, you can go a la carte: each workshop is $25 per person or $40 per couple.

Are you ready for Pacific Grand Ball?


This year, we're bringing you the same, friendly atmosphere and affordable competition from a new location: the modern, luxurious
San Mateo Mariott. Friends of Pacific Grand Ball get a special discounted rate. Whether you choose to stay with us at the Marriott for the night or just come in for the day, parking at the Marriott is FREE.

On Saturday, September 24 we're planning a day full of Pro-Am and Amateur NDCA sanctioned events, topped off by a fabulous show with one of the World's top Standard couples, Victor Fung and Anastasia. We're rolling out the red carpet and ending the night with a star-studded After Party.

Sunday, September 25 will be full of workshops in our dance camp. We're still finalizing the schedule, but we can tell you this much: it's going to be a fantastic day full of dancing. Victor and Anastasia start the coaching lineup and more great coaches are confirmed.

Workshop schedule and other updates

There's only 7 days left until the First Annual Pacific Grand Ball and we're putting on the finishing touches.

Here are a couple of hot new things we've been working on:
  • The Pacific Grand Ball workshop schedule for Sunday, 9/27 has been finalized and we are honored to present you an International Foxtrot workshop with Charlotte Jorgensen at 7:00 pm and an International Rumba workshop with Pasha Barsuk at 7:45 pm. Cost for each workshop is $20 in advance and $25 at the door. Email info@pacificgrandball.com to reserve your spot.
  • Premier Ballroom Studio Club Dance Competition has expanded and added the Same Sex Competition for Beginner/Intermediate and Advanced levels in both International and American Styles.
  • Premier Ballroom Studio is also proud to announce its workshop lineup: Hustle workshop with Billy Fajardo at 2:00 pm and a West Coast Swing workshop with Richard Kear at 3:30, with lots of general dancing in between. Cost for each workshop is $20 in advance and $25 at the door. Email info@pacificgrandball.com to reserve your spot.
  • Amateur Novice to PreChamp International Standard event has moved to the evening session. Stay tuned for more updates and remember to check your heatlist -- it will be available on Wednesday, 9/23.
